The Weekend’s Almost Over, And What Have I Done?

Absolutely nothing.

I haven’t been an out-body (as in the opposite to homebody) for quite some time now, mainly because I find that there’s nothing much to do in Singapore on the weekends.

Think about it — all you do is pack yourself into a huge crowd of people all jostling for the same goods and services in most cases, e.g. a movie, restaurant or any other entertainment hotspot. Then there’s the obscene amount of money you need to fork out for everything that’s now tagged at weekend ’special’ prices.

Did I hear you say the great outdoors?

No thanks, mate, not really a friend of the outdoors, the Army has scarred me for life in that department with those free trips to the (muddy) fields.

Which is why I am now quite a fan of Everyday Weekender, which I’ll call my penultimate guide to fun at home over the weekend.

Though thousands of miles apart, there are enough common weekend activity tips that we here in Singapore can learn about, like how you can have a good barbeque party, the secret to preparing a good steak, and of course, reviews of Xbox 360 games.

Moreover, you should pop over now as he’s giving away a Page 5 Link back to blogs if you review the site, which is exactly what I am doing!

At least this weekend’s not totally wasted (if this review’s good enough)!
