Is Sabbath For Christians Saturday Or Sunday?

Shabbat ShalomIt’s Sunday evening here, and no doubt many Christians across the country and the world would have already attended church services or are preparing to attend one.

Which makes it a perfect opportunity to discuss what some have asked me about a statement I made in my old blog on the fact that I believe we Christians should keep the sabbath on Saturday instead of Sunday.

I am not a Seventh-Day Adventist; it just happens that I agree with them on this point about observing the sabbath on Saturday instead of Sunday.

So why do most churches observe what they call “The Lord’s Day” on Sundays?

Uncle Sam Kills High-Profile al-Qaeda Leader, Twice!

Propaganda MachineFollowing an apparent gaffe by their war propaganda machinery, the U.S. military was recently forced to retract a statement claiming that they had managed to eliminate a high-profile al-Qaeda leader in Iraq.

They were then requested to list a relationship problem that could not be resolved without the spouse’s cooperation.

Hogwart's HogwashTis the season for another Harry Potter film, and I feel I must speak my mind to you about the dangers of this series of books and films.

Like many the world over, you probably think that Harry Potter is just harmless, literary fun, and even include it in your children’s literary diet.

I am sorry, but you’re sorely mistaken — Harry Potter is not harmless, literary fun.

It is subtlely introducing you, your children and the millions around the globe that adore the series to the darker sides of the occult through witchcraft! And the movies are Hollywood’s contribution to the glorification of all things occult, a campaign that television networks follow up with relish in between the movie releases.

Explore Sacred Sites, Ancient Wonders, And Religious Places Around The World

Western WallOne of the new-world promises the Internet brought when it was first made commercially available was the fact that we could all be armchair travelers traversing the world in seconds by zipping through websites that carry information and photographs of famous sites around the world.

Except for a few sites that almost delivered the promise, we have largely been inundated by more travel bookings sites than actual sites that made good on that potential.
