Stepping Out Of Anonymity

First Song of Isaiah Just a short post before I retire to rest ahead of another long day at work tomorrow.

I have met and made many new friends, Christian brothers and sisters through this blog, and truly I feel blessed.

And it has occurred to me that all of you are known to me by your real names instead of by your nicknames, so I feel it’s time I introduce myself to you proper.

From now on, if you’d like, please just call me by my real name — Isaiah.

In Hebrew, it’s Yesha’yahu (according to the Encyclopedia Britannica) and means “God is my Salvation”.

God bless, and Shalom!

Interesting… Ed is indeed the name my real life friends call me. For a while, I was fiddling between ET and Ed, because friends call me by both. ET is more associated to my musical friends. Ed is more of a shortform, easier to pronounce.

The full extended name points to biblical reference too… Son of Edward.

Ok, well as you said you already know my real name. It’s Shalene. It’s not biblical, just made up by my mother. :) It’s pronounced Shay- leen. I just had to add another comment so that I could be out your friend “fartboystinks” for the most comments. :) I’m a little competitive that way. Only for silly things that is. Not that my name is silly. Oh, never mind…:) Blessings again my brother. Shalom.

Oh, we’re doing first names are we? Howdy Isaiah - Michelle here!
(But you already knew that from my blog… And I had kinda sorta guessed already that your name was Isaiah from your hints!)

Thanks for sharing, Ed. Should have guessed that’s your real name as well, lol!

My friends have a short name for me too, and I’m glad they kinda started calling me that, because I find that a lot of locals do not know how to pronounce my name.

So I just tell them to call me “Ike”, much as most of my friends do.

    hiya Shalene :-)

It’s a good thing you pointed out how your name should be pronounced as “Shay-leen”. All this while I have been reading your comments going “Shar-leen”. Oops, my bad!

Speaking of comments, go ahead, lol! But don’t stop once you get to the top please, haha!

God bless you, sister, Shabbat Shalom.

    heya Michelle :-)

Darn, what gave it away? LOL!

Then again, I think the hints were quite deliberately obvious, but it takes one with a good knowledge of the Bible to guess too.

God bless you, sister, and Shabbat Shalom.
