One of the reasons I love blogging is because it is another channel for me to get to know people from all walks of life and from other cultures.
In other words, blogging allows me to network on an international level.
For me, networking is more than just meeting up, having coffee and a chat with your friends or people you already know. It’s about expanding your horizons to meet and interact with people from all over the world whom you don’t know and getting to know them.
And I rank networking as the top must-do activity for any blogger who wishes to get their messages across through their blogs.
That’s why I think BlogDay is a great idea.
On BlogDay, 31 August 2007, bloggers are encouraged to get to post 5 new blogs that are preferably different from their own culture, point of view and attitude. By doing this, the organizer hopes that more bloggers will take an interest in getting to know other bloggers from other countries and areas of interest.
Do visit the event’s web site for more details if you are interested to participate.

It is a breath of fresh air to find that there’s actually a blog out there that specifically addresses sex in Christian marriages and the issues surrounding this aspect of marriage that most Christians and churches are not too willing to approach.
Perhaps it’s due to the Victorian hangover we are still having (what a long hangover, huh?) regarding sex in general.
My big thanks goes out to Robert and Susan Irwin for first stumbling upon my 3-part series on Christian marriage, and linking to them from a post of his. Because without that I wouldn’t have discovered his blog.
The couple creates a friendly atmosphere, and takes a God and family-centric approach on “Love Marriage And Christian Sex“. There’s nothing salacious about the site, not even when there are links to sex toys for Christian married couples, sex skills for Christian husbands, Christian sex videos (either educational or informative, nothing of the pornographic sort) and even 100 sex games for Christian couples.

Big thanks go out to Endoh for this little badge that he made to link to my blog! I totally love it, mate.

He’s made quite a few others too that he uses for his blogroll, all of which are absolutely great so go have a look.
You got talent, mate, and my big big thanks to you for letting me use it for my blog too!
Shabbat Shalom, and God bless.

“Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee. Peace be within thy walls, and prosperity within thy palaces. For my brethren and companions’ sakes, I will now say, Peace be within thee. Because of the house of the LORD our God I will seek thy good.”
– Psalm 122:6-9 (KJV)
It is odd, but I have such strong feelings and affinity for a country (Israel) and city (Jerusalem), both of which I have never set foot in, but simply because God has put into my heart to rejoice in His land and His city.

The folks at World’s Last Chance have published a new video that purportedly explains what God’s Seal on His faithful is and what the Mark of the Beast actually refers to.
I won’t give too much away since it’s best if you watched the video for yourself and arrive at your own conclusions. What I’d say at this point is that I don’t quite agree with what they defined as the Mark of the Beast.

Estee’s recent post “Why do Women Want to Change Their Men? Stand your Ground!” elicited quite a fair bit of comments from me, where I lamented how men are becoming push-overs for women today.
Because, really, men in general seem to have lost that “Frankly, my dear, I don’t give a damn!” feeling when it comes to handling women and their sometimes unreasonable demands. Like, can’t they put down the toilet seat themselves, eh?
Anyhow, the weekend’s approaching, and I don’t feel like I want to start “Gender Wars, Part…”, er, I lost count.
So here’s a little syllabus my “Apathetic Lemming of the North” friend Norski pointed me to from his blog which I thought could be useful.

Reading dozens of blogs around Singapore and the world on the issue of homosexuality and why governments should legalize homosexuality and even allow homosexual marriages has taught me one thing.
Most people agree with the pro-homosexuality or pro-gay movement, and are vocal about it. People blog about their support for the movement, and their disdain for people whom they term ‘homophobes‘, ‘bigots’ and other worse names. Or they simply use the term ‘human rights’ loosely to state that homosexuality should be duly recognized.
Which makes me ask the question: where are the Christian voices against the movement?
