Hear What The LORD Says, You Who Seek To Divide And Destroy Eretz Yisrael!

Take heed, you God-less political leaders who are proposing to divide up Eretz Yisrael, God’s possession, while you barter and debate in Annapolis in the name of “peace”.

Yet, in reality you are but only trying to sate the selfish motives of your own dark hearts!

Take heed, for the LORD has made a promise unto His own and shall give unto you due judgment!

Isaiah 62:1 (KJV) For Zion’s sake will I not hold my peace, and for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burneth.

Isaiah 62:2 (KJV) And the Gentiles shall see thy righteousness, and all kings thy glory: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the LORD shall name.

Isaiah 62:3 (KJV) Thou shalt also be a crown of glory in the hand of the LORD, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

Isaiah 62:4 (KJV) Thou shalt no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall thy land any more be termed Desolate: but thou shalt be called Hephzibah, and thy land Beulah: for the LORD delighteth in thee, and thy land shall be married.

Isaiah 62:5 (KJV) For as a young man marrieth a virgin, so shall thy sons marry thee: and as the bridegroom rejoiceth over the bride, so shall thy God rejoice over thee.

Isaiah 62:6 (KJV) I have set watchmen upon thy walls, O Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night: ye that make mention of the LORD, keep not silence,

Isaiah 62:7 (KJV) And give him no rest, till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Isaiah 62:8 (KJV) The LORD hath sworn by his right hand, and by the arm of his strength, Surely I will no more give thy corn to be meat for thine enemies; and the sons of the stranger shall not drink thy wine, for the which thou hast laboured:

Isaiah 62:9 (KJV) But they that have gathered it shall eat it, and praise the LORD; and they that have brought it together shall drink it in the courts of my holiness.

Isaiah 62:10 (KJV) Go through, go through the gates; prepare ye the way of the people; cast up, cast up the highway; gather out the stones; lift up a standard for the people.

Isaiah 62:11 (KJV) Behold, the LORD hath proclaimed unto the end of the world, Say ye to the daughter of Zion, Behold, thy salvation cometh; behold, his reward is with him, and his work before him.

Isaiah 62:12 (KJV) And they shall call them, The holy people, The redeemed of the LORD: and thou shalt be called, Sought out, A city not forsaken.

Amen!

As for us, my dear Christian brethren and sisters, remember Israel and pray incessantly for her and Yerushalayim (Jerusalem).

Shalom Aleichem.

Learning About Ministry

MinistryJust yesterday in my post on feeling bitter, I said I’d share what I learned of the two passages I quoted, one of which was Matthew 14:13-21 (ESV) where our Lord Jesus Christ feeds the five thousand.

Yet, as I read more about it, another lesson was given to me out of the same verses, and I think I’ll share that with you instead.

This other lesson is a lesson in ministry and how our surrender to our Lord Jesus Christ is an integral part of it.

Don’t Be A Religious Christian

Have I gone mad? Has resentment and anger gotten the better of me that I now write such spew?

No, no, no, not at all!

I have always maintained that Christianity is a faith, and not a religion, and I get quite upset that people, even Christians, do not seem to be able to make the distinction.

Just last night, I heard Mark Driscoll say in his sermon, which I shall display below, why and how religion is an enemy to the Gospel. And it rings so true even about me at times, and I am sure that it will speak directly to you too.

The central message is this: that we obey God and do His commandments because He loves us and our obedience to Him is a result of the fact that we love Him back, and not because we let religion dictate it to us.

Only God is holy, but we strive to live holy lives because we love God and therefore obey Him.

I hope you enjoy it, and heed the message as much as it is making me re-examine my own walk with our Lord Jesus Christ.

Shalom Aleichem.

Do I Taste Bitterness? Yes, Much!

Bitterness I am not feeling as bitter as I had been on Shabbat evening, thanks very much in part to a great conversation with Sidharth over MSN that same night when he reminded me to give thanks for everything, the good and the bad.

What am I bitter about?

From KJV To ESV

For a long time now I’ve only been referring to the King James Version (KJV) of the Bible for reading, learning and quotes. At the same time, I was looking around for a modern English translation that I can use.

Finding one that is almost as reliable as the KJV isn’t easy.

Today, there are so many Bible translations on the shelf that picking one isn’t an easy choice. While some say that there’s no point in being picky so long as you can understand what you read, I beg to differ.

Israeli-Palestinian “Peace”

I know many brothers and sisters whose hearts are now heavy for Israel ahead of the “peace” summit in the coming week. We gnash our teeth and cry out for Israel to be strong and not let be taken in by promises of false peace.

Yet I tell you, that by the Word of God all these things shall have to come to be. So let not your hearts and spirits be troubled, but be encouraged that God is surely bringing to fruition His promises and He shall be for His people Israel.

Be Warned, Beware!

If you haven’t noticed this video series, it is about time you do!

The Emerging Church with her brand of 21st Century faith (what in the world is 21st Century faith anyway?) which includes mysticism, eastern philosophies and is a whole load of ecumenical nonsense has, not surprisingly, made its way into our churches.

And if you think that this movement is just now coming into being, think again — pastors, churches, congregations, and even audiences of popular TV and radio shows like Oprah are now being inundated with all the New Age mumbo-jumbo week in week out.
