Christian, You Need To Listen To This!

Have about 45 minutes or so? If not, try setting aside that time, sit down with your family and friends who are also Christian and listen to this by Paul David Washer.

This will change the reflected image of yourself in the mirror as it did mine.

And this is not only true in the United States as Paul Washer states, but I believe it’s true of us here in Singapore too, and oh! so very true of many of us including me.

Matthew 7:13 (KJV) Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Matthew 7:14 (KJV) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it.

Matthew 7:15 (KJV) Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

Matthew 7:16 (KJV) Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

Matthew 7:17 (KJV) Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

Matthew 7:18 (KJV) A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

Matthew 7:19 (KJV) Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

Matthew 7:20 (KJV) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

Matthew 7:21 (KJV) Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.

Matthew 7:22 (KJV) Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?

Matthew 7:23 (KJV) And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Matthew 7:24 (KJV) Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house upon a rock:

Matthew 7:25 (KJV) And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell not: for it was founded upon a rock.

Matthew 7:26 (KJV) And every one that heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which built his house upon the sand:

Matthew 7:27 (KJV) And the rain descended, and the floods came, and the winds blew, and beat upon that house; and it fell: and great was the fall of it.

Amen!

Shalom Aleichem.

I watched about 1/2 of it, and really agree with what he is saying so far. I will have to come back when I have more time to read the rest. Thanks for sharing it. It has certainly given me some food for thought. Narrow is the gate and the path, for sure! Blessings and Shalom, my friend and brother in Christ!

I have several of Paul Washer’s sermons on cd’s including this one - very good. This man is definitely not out to make friends but to get the truth out!!! :)

You’re most welcome, Shalene. The part of the narrow path didn’t really hit me when I first read that verse a long time ago, but now it’s so much clearer to me!

    Shabbat Shalom, sister!

A famous man once said this, ” I do not know the way to success but i do know a way to failure is to try to please man.”

This man is indeed speaking the truth, not trying to please man but please God. What he is preaching is The Sermon on The Mount, the most famous and compelling exposition that Jesus had ever preached, and St. Augustine described it as “the perfect standard for the Christian life”.

It is almost like taking your life through a spiritual X-ray machine and see for yourself what it means to be a true believer and truly conform to the image of Christ.

I truly believes that when one lives by the Sermon on the Mount, one will never embrace shallow or superficial Christianity again.

    Amen, Brydan, well put indeed!

There should be more pastors like Paul Washer and less of Joel Osteen!

    Have a blessed Christmas!

    Shalom Aleichem.

    Shalom all!
