Best Bit Of Street Evangelism

Ray ComfortIn case some of you don’t already know, I love listening to Way of the Master (WotM) Radio — I think it’s one of the better Christian radio programs available over the Internet, in addition to White Horse Inn.

A feature of the daily two-hour broadcasts on WotM is street evangelism, when they share the evangelism experience with listeners.

I’ve been listening to the station for some time now, and I think this is one of the most touching and encouraging evangelism experiences I’ve heard — it reminds me of two important points when it comes to sharing our faith:

  1. Never judge a book by its cover, and don’t be intimidated by tattoos, chains and spiky hairstyles on people, or just their outward appearances. In all honesty, most times we tend to think such folks bite and will chase us away with their fists, mock our attempts, or just won’t bother to listen.
  2. Don’t count on your ’strengths’ to convince the person. Present the Gospel and let the Holy Spirit do the work in convicting the hearts of those who have heard the Good News.

Listen as Ray Comfort (that’s him in the picture) talks to Brad:

It’s amazing to witness how God has used Ray to win souls. I love the way he uses the Ten Commandments, and I must say, he seems like one of the few that is actually evangelizing the right way. All he did was share the gospel, and the Holy Spirit did the rest!

Thank you for sharing…I have to dry my eyes now after all those tears!

I love how Ray uses the Ten Commandments to evangelize. I always like watching his programs. But what I think is amazing is that Brad’s heart received God’s message so easily! He had a pentagram tattoo which already tells of his spiritual disposition yet the Gospel permeated through that! Amazing!
