Go Share Your Faith!

I had intended to post my take on some other issue initially, but decided to pass on this video instead after watching it in the hopes that it shall also encourage and inspire you as it did me.

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.

The Graham Formula

I have just finished watching this really interesting seven-part series that illustrates the evolution of evangelism methods from pre-20th Century to the watered-down versions of altar calls and pre-made repeat-after-me “sinner’s prayers” that we today experience.

The series is a video presentation based on the book of the same title by Patrick McIntyre. By explaining the evolution of the altar call and salvation prayer, McIntyre identifies why most Americans (and many others around the world who became Christians through such methodologies) think they are born again.

I strongly encourage you to watch this and examine if indeed you have Christ in you (truly born again), or did you just make a decision to believe in God.

Ee-Taow! Ee-Taow! The Mouk People Share Their Testimony

I came across this video quite by accident, and it is simply amazing because it is just so inspirational.

I would strongly urge you to watch all 20 minutes of it, and see for yourself how a whole tribe believed unto salvation! It truly is awe-inspiring the belief and faith that God had put into the hearts of these people whom we will by our industrialized and “enlightened” societies call primitive and uneducated.

Watching it really reminds me of 1 Corinthians 1:19-25 (KJV).

1 Corinthians 1:19 (KJV) For it is written, I will destroy the wisdom of the wise, and will bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.

1 Corinthians 1:20 (KJV) Where is the wise? where is the scribe? where is the disputer of this world? hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?

1 Corinthians 1:21 (KJV) For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

1 Corinthians 1:22 (KJV) For the Jews require a sign, and the Greeks seek after wisdom:

1 Corinthians 1:23 (KJV) But we preach Christ crucified, unto the Jews a stumblingblock, and unto the Greeks foolishness;

1 Corinthians 1:24 (KJV) But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.

1 Corinthians 1:25 (KJV) Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger than men.

These people asked no sign from God, and saw none, but by hearing they believed. For months, twice a day, Mondays to Fridays, these people latched onto every word that the missionaries told of the Old Testament and the Gospel, yearning and thirsting for more!

How many people in our “enlightened” world today do you think will be as receptive? If this is not in any way inspirational, I know not what else might be.

Hallelujah, praise be to Yahweh! AMEN!

Shalom Aleichem.
